Althea A'Bloom Series : Makeup Tools & Skincare

I've been a fan of Althea for years. Kalau sebelum ni banyak shopping dekat Althea untuk brand brand famous from Korea je, tapi sekarang I dah jadi peminat untuk diorang punya own product. And to add another addition to my addiction, Althea ada new product line pulak named A'BLOOM! Weehoo!

Fruit Face Masks

Ianya sejenis face mask. Sheet mask to be exact. One of routine yang tak ramai faham ianya sangat berbaloi kalau rajin buat. 2 kali seminggu pun dah cukup. Ada 4 variants, yang each targets different skin concern.

💕 Water-me-long : Moisturizing Watermelon Mask

Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Fruit Extract,

Regulate oil, balance moisture and purify for soft smooth skin.

My thoughts :

Suka the size. ngam ngam dekat muka. Hole untuk mata, hidung, mulut semua ngam. Tak susah susah nak potong. Dan dekat hujung hujung mask designed to perfectly fit any face shape. Sheet punya absorption bagus. All the essence soaked into the mask. Tak ada meleleh leleh masa pakai. And tak banyak yang tertinggal dekat dalam packaging. So all the essence memang melekat dekat muka je. Lepas remove mask, boleh rasa kulit instantly feel plumper and softer.

I've tried every masks and these are my verdict

Water-me- long : Memang instantly gives hydration dekat skin. I pakai ni before nak makeup. Memang skin dapat enough hydration they need to prep skin before makeup. Love love!

Avo-cuddle- me : Works somewhat like the water-me-long ,  don't see much different except for skin feel well hydrated

Sparkle-me-bright : excited cuba yang ni sebab ada niacinamide. bagus untuk lighten up pigmentation or dark spot. Guna ni baru sekali. Skin does appears brighter tapi pigmentation not much different. Kena pakai banyak kali kot

Ac-me-peach : great for the time of the month! Kalau ada zits, pakai ni insyaallah redness akan kurang. infused with tea tree oil, it helps to calm skin and reduce inflammation. My saviour bila ada jerawat besar besar!

BHA Blackhead Blaster

➡ What is this?

Blackhead and whitehead remover. Comes in a stick type, easy to apply without mess.

Gentle and non-irritating formula treats and prevents new ones from forming

➡ Key ingredients :

Natural BHA (White Willow Bark Extract 5,000ppm), Charcoal, Apricot seed, Tea Tree leaf oil

➡ Functions :

Remove blackhead, whitehead painlessly

Remove excess sebum

My thoughts :

BHA memang known for it's exfoliating power. So kalau nak remove dead skin cell atau blackhead, whitehead, memang kena cari produk yang ada BHA. Guna ni senang sebab takpayah nak sental kuat kuat muka (which may lead to microtearing). Cara guna cuma cuci muka, lepastu apply dan bilas. Nak lagi bagus, stim dulu muka atau tekap dengan tuala suam before guna. 

Upon first application, tak banyak beza boleh nampak. Cuma boleh rasa hidung tu lembut sikit sebab dah exfoliate. Tapi blackhead and whitehead are still there. Probably lesser. Good thing is, since it comes in a stick and compact size, so senang nak bawa kemana mana kalau travel. Kena rajin guna baru akan nampak kesan ketara. Will use this often :D

Meringue Puffs 

(Giant and Baby size)

➡ What is this?

Makeup sponge. Used to blend liquid products eg: foundation, cream blusher, concealer etc. Multi-angle puffs that blend easily for perfect detailed application

➡ Key ingredients :

High density latex free foam

My thoughts :

I'm not a fan of sponge sebenarnya. I lagi suka blend foundation or any cream product guna brushes. Sebab kadang tu malas nak basahkan sponge. Tapi this sponge works great both dry and wet! So kalau macam tak nak basahkan pun takpe. If basahkan, akan boleh kembang 1.5 x larger so lagi senang nak cover all area. Yang giant size I jarang guna. Tapi baby size ni selalu juga pakai bila nak blend concealer dekat hard to reach area macam bawah mata and area hidung. And the good thing is, it's latex free , toxic free. Tapi sebabkan warna dia cerah, dah comot dah sponge i kesan foundation haha. but that's actually good sebab kalau hitam, kita taktahu sponge tu bersih ke tak kan?
